Frequently asked questions

Can I remove my gel nails myself?

No, do not try to take off your gel nails by yourself. By doing it yourself, you risk damaging your nail and nail bed. Instead, come to Divine Nails and let our experienced nail technicians safely remove old gel nails.

Will solar nails damage my nails?

Solar nails are totally safe as long as they are done by a professional and experienced nail technician.

What if I break or chip a nail?

Accidents happen. Luckily, we offer nail repair at Divine Nails. We will get your nails looking like new again in no time.

Will the UV lamp hurt my hands?

UV lamps are used to cure gel polish. While they do use UV light, there is no need for sunscreen. Our UV lamps are safe for routine manicure and pedicure use.

Does waxing hurt?

There is some mild discomfort involved in waxing, especially during your first appointment. Waxing is not painful as it appears in film and TV, and in fact gets easier with every visit.

How long will my waxing treatment last?

Waxing results will vary by person and by which area of the body is being waxed. Most treatments will last about 4 weeks.

What do I wear to my waxing appointment?

Really, you can wear whatever you want to your waxing appointment, but we suggest wearing loose or flowy clothing. Your skin can become tender or irritated after waxing and most clients find looser fitting clothing more comfortable afterwards.

How long does eyebrow/eyelash tinting last?

A typical tinting application will last 4 to 6 weeks. Ultimately, the length of your tinting will be impacted  by your rate of hair growth, your hair’s natural color, and if you take proper care of them at home.
